Sylvanside Farm, established in 1774, reminds visitors of a small village in the European countryside. In 2018, the farm was purchased and restored to its former glory. The goal in hosting weddings is to preserve this special land, Loudoun’s rich farming heritage and the beautiful rural landscape of Loudoun County. You might have your ceremony overlooking the pond, framed by the weeping cherries with the Stone Barn in the background, or under the blooming trees in the orchard across from the Manor House. Afterwards, your guests can enjoy a cocktail reception in the Stone Barn while watching the Clydesdales or playing lawn games, later moving to the romantic Poplar Barn for an evening reception. After the excitement of the day, the couple can stay the night in the romantic on-site Hunt Box (our hunt country honeymoon suite), while family or friends stays across the drive in the three-bedroom Cottage.

Sylvanside is also available for group events and retreats year long. Our property is the perfect, peaceful place to enjoy some time away for work or for play. Come visit us!

”We cannot say enough good things! Terri and Jeff were so great, giving us tours, accommodating lots of special touches to our ceremony, and always being available and responsive for questions. I actually hesitate to let this secret out, because my husband and I definitely want to visit for anniversaries!”

“I visited Sylvanside Farm recently and was awestruck by the beautiful surroundings. I was drawn to the inevitability that a 200 year old barn will witness countless of couples getting married and create lasting memories.”

“Every time I visit, I feel swept away to another time in America's past. The trees, flowers, and natural landscape there are so idyllic and spectacular that you would hardly have to waste time (or money!) thinking about additional wedding décor. If you're still looking for a venue, you should look no further.
